My LD26 entry and first Twine game, Broke Down, is now available, along with the source (which is a mess). I used several of Leon Arnott’s macros, which you can find here. Porpentine’s Twine Resources were also extremely useful.
YERT has a lot of sentimental value for me, and I feel it’s my most fun game, so I decided to revisit it one last time and give it the proper post-competition treatment. Version 2.0 includes a full soundtrack by Li’l Magic (7 tracks), orchestrated finale music, customized menus, compressed graphics, and other small fixes. All of these changes were made with the original spirit of the game in mind and the storyline and graphics have been left intact.
If you’ve ever peeked into the source code of the competition version of YERT, you know it ain’t pretty. When Li’l and I agreed to release version 2.0 under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported license, I took the opportunity to clean up and improve the code.
